1) Danielle Wyatt – The English batter played a mind-boggling inning which was an absolute treat for the cricket lovers. She became the first English woman to score a Century in KSL 2019. It was a stunning show by Wyatt. She smashed all over the park with an innings of 110 in just 60 balls. The inning included 9 fours and 7 huge sixes. This is her second t20 century overall. This innings of her helped Vipers to have a huge win of 89 runs 


2) Stafanie Taylor – Windies skipper continued to have a great KSL 2019. She bowled an excellent spell of 3/11. Vipers all-rounder was well supported by Morris and Farrant.

3) Dane Vane Niekerk – The Star All-rounder claimed her first hat trick of the season. She got the wickets of Taylor, Bouchier, and kelly. Which helped Stars to restrict Vipers under 200.

Danielle Wyatt’s Stunning show with the bat which included 9 fours and 7 sixes helped her to score the first Century in KSL 2019.  This innings of her lead Southern Vipers to a huge victory of 89 runs at Arundel on Sunday.

On winning the toss Surrey skipper choose to bowl. Opening the inning for Vipers, Wyatt and Bates had a slow start in the power play. Once the power play got over, Danielle Wyatt started to strike hard, she played a stunning inning of 110 of 60 balls which included 9 fours and 7 sixes. She became the first English woman to score a century in KSL. This is her second t20 century overall.

It was an absolute treat for the people who witnessed the innings. On the other side, she was well supported by veteran Suzie Bates. They had a partnership of 109 before the senior pro got out to Gordon. In the end, Proteas skipper Dane Vane Niekerk picked up a Hattrick in the final over of the match. She got the wickets of Stafanie Taylor, Bouchier and Kelly. Southern Vipers finished their innings with a huge score of 178 in 20 overs.

On chasing the target, Surrey Stars were never in the game, in the second over itself, the hard-hitting batter Lizelle Lee got out and the other batters who followed couldn’t cope up the pressure of chasing the high score and lost wickets in tandem, in the end, they were all out for a total of 89. That is they just scored half of the runs scored by Vipers. This defeat definitely will affect their run rate. With the bowl, it was Stafanie Taylor took 3 wickets and she was well supported by Morris and Farrant, both picked two wickets each.

On the whole, this was one of the biggest defeats for a team like Stars in the KSL. With this victory, Vipers continue at the second position in the points table. The defending champions Surrey Stars move down to the fourth position.
