In the ongoing Bali Bash Women’s Twenty20 International (T20I) series, in match no. 5, Indonesia and Singapore are slated to lock horns at the Udayana Cricket Ground, Bali, on the 5th of July, 2024, at 6:00 AM Indian Standard Time (IST).

Players to watch out:
Kadek Winda Prastini
The 24-year-old all-rounder, from 17 T20I innings, has accumulated 282 runs, including a highest of 89*, and while she has picked up 4 wickets from 5 innings with her pace bowling, she has also kept wickets. In this campaign, Kadek hasn’t been required much and in her only outing scored a solid 40-ball 41, and it will be expected that she capitalizes on this start.
Dara Paramitha
The 28-year-old pacer, averaging 4.35 and maintaining an economy rate of 2.65, has scalped 14 wickets from 9 T20Is and produced a best of 5/5. Following her last campaign with the national team in November 2022, Dara, on her return, has had a consistent and notable campaign thus far, returning figures of 1/6, 1/8, and 1/8. She can be banked upon to continue this momentum.
Roshni Seth
The 24-year-old all-rounder in T20Is, from 23 outings, has posted 284 runs on the board and from 17 bowling innings has struck 7 scalps. Against the Philippines late last year, Roshni registered scores of 70, 50, and 29*. However, since then, she has departed for 1, 7, 17, 4, and 0, and has also remained wicketless in her previous 4 innings. She should be backed to step up her efforts.
Johanna Pooranakaran
The 19-year-old pacer, from 16 T20I innings, has bagged 10 wickets, including a best of 2/10, at an economy rate of 8.88. Johanna had a notable outing earlier this year against Myanmar, and while she was counted on for more of the same, she hasn’t had similar success just yet in this campaign, registering figures of 0/26, 1/13, and 0/26. Hopefully, she finds her rhythm.
Pitch:
The Udayana Cricket Ground is a low-scoring venue with significant purchase on offer for bowlers, pacers in particular, leading to a modest average score. Batters must quickly adapt to the surface, and taking calculated risks can help in posting a competitive total.
Weather:
With partly cloudy skies, the conditions are forecasted to be bright and pleasant for cricket in Bali. The temperature will be around 27°C, with moderate winds and a humidity level of 78%.
