The 2nd match of the T20I bilateral series between Australia Women and India Women will be played at the Manuka Oval, Canberra. The Indian Women kicked off the tour with an excellent win against the Australians as they bowled out the hosts for 133 and complemented their bowling efforts with a powerful batting show. The Australian Women were not off to the best of starts, but credit to Georgia Wareham, they fought back brilliantly with some quick runs. Arundhati Reddy was too much to handle for them, and she bowled exceptionally well with 4 wickets to put them off guard. As the Indian Women gear up to take on the Australian Women, here are the top 3 players to look out for:

Shafali Verma
Shafali Verma, the young Indian opener, has been in tremendous form for India in recent matches. In her T20I career, she has scored 2483 runs from 95 innings at a strike rate of 135. In the previous match, India had to score some quick runs as there was a risk of rain spoiling the game. She scored a crucial 22 off 11 balls to power India to a total above the DLS par score. She will be an important player for India as she has incredible timing and hitting abilities, and if she gets going, it could be an absolute nightmare for the opposition.
Renuka Singh Thakur
Renuka Singh Thakur, the Indian pacer, has been one of India’s best seamers in recent times with her clinical new-ball bowling. In her T20I career, she has picked up 64 wickets from 56 innings at an economy of 6. She bowled really well in the opening fixture as she picked up 2 wickets and gave away just 14 runs from her 4 overs. She will be a deadly bowler for the side as she has good wicket-taking abilities and can trouble the batters with the new ball.
Arundhati Reddy
Arundhati Reddy, the Indian bowler, has been terrific with her all-around abilities for her national side. In her T20I career, she has picked up 41 wickets from 42 innings at an economy of 7. She was introduced in the opening game in the middle phase of the game, but she made an immediate impact with the ball, and she finished her bowling spell with 4 wickets and just 22 runs. She was awarded the Player of the Match for her good bowling, and she will be hopeful that she can carry her momentum in the coming games as well.
