Shweta Sehrawat:

She was one of the leading run-scorers for India Women’s U19 in the first T20 against South Africa Women’s U19. The vice-captain smashed 40 off 39, including five boundaries. In the process, she put together 71 runs with Soumya Tiwari for the second wicket. Sehrawat is known for her aggressive intent.

Shabnam MD: 

Known for her raw pace and lethal short-pitch deliveries, this right-arm pace sensation of India Women’s U19 wreaked havoc with the ball in the first T20 against South Africa Women’s U19. She opened the bowling and scalped 15/3 in four overs. She was effective with the new ball and hit the right areas consistently.

Kayla Reyneke: 

The dashing South Africa Women’s U19 all-rounder made valuable contributions with bat and ball in the first T20 against India Women’s U19. Batting at number six, the right-hander accumulated 20 runs in 25 balls, including a couple of hits to the fence and clearing the ropes once. With her gentle off-spin, the wily spinner claimed 13/2 in four overs.

Ayanda Hlubi: 

The right-arm speedster of South Africa Women’s U19 gave the perfect start to her team in the first T20 against India Women’s U19. She got rid of the dangerous Shafali Verma on the first ball of the match. In her four overs, she accounted for 22/2. She was good with the new ball and in the death overs.

Pitch

It will be the fourth game of the series at the venue. The last two matches were abandoned without a ball being bowled due to a wet outfield. With a relatively lower chance of rain, there could be a complete day of cricket. However, the conditions over the past few days may assist the bowlers. Batters could find it difficult to score freely.
