The much-awaited Indian women’s squad to tour Bangladesh was finally announced on Sunday late at night. As expected, the squad selection has once again raised eyebrows and cricket fans took to Twitter to voice their opinion. The squad sees plenty of new faces given a call-up while senior and experienced players like Shikha Pandey, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Renuka Singh Thakur, and Richa Ghosh were absent from the squad list. The reason for the ommission is still unknown.
