THAILAND BEAT UAE WOMEN AND WINS THE TOURNAMENT
Women won the toss and decided to play with the bat first. Thailand scored 107 runs, losing 8 wickets after 20 overs. Nattakan Chantam scored 35 runs from 30 balls. Shubha Venkataraman took 3 wickets for UAE. UAE women got all out for 57 runs in 19.2 overs. Thailand won their all 6 matches of the tournament and finished at the top of the points table with 12 points and qualify for the 2019 T20 world Cup Qualifier as well as 2020 World Cup Qualifier. UAE women finished at the third spot. Thailand’s Naruemol Chaiwai remained the leading run scorer with 181 runs and Sornnarin Tippoch is the leading wicket taker with 13 wickets.
