Linsey Smith is an England women’s cricketer who is known for her left-arm spin bowling in T20 cricket. She is known for bowling accurate lines, staying calm under pressure, and controlling runs during important moments of a match. After years of grind in domestic cricket, Linsey earned another chance to play for England and made a strong return to international cricket.
She started her cricket career with Berkshire before moving to Sussex. Over the years, she has also played for Southern Vipers, Northern Superchargers, Sydney Sixers, Melbourne Stars, Melbourne Renegades, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women.
Linsey made her T20I debut for England against Bangladesh in November 2018. After playing a few matches and was overlooked for years before forcing her comeback on the back of domestic success. Her strong performances later helped her return to the England team in 2024.
