Issy Wong is one of the most exciting fast bowlers in England women’s cricket. She is known for her speed, attacking bowling, and energetic style on the field. Wong can bowl above 70 mph, which makes her one of the fastest bowlers in women’s cricket.
Issy started playing cricket at a young age after joining the Chance to Shine programme at school. She mostly played with boys while growing up and soon became one of the best young players in Warwickshire. Her strong performances helped her enter professional cricket at a young age.
She started her domestic career with Worcestershire before moving to Warwickshire. Wong has also played for Southern Vipers, Central Sparks, Western Storm, Birmingham Phoenix, London Spirit, Sydney Thunder, Hobart Hurricanes, Melbourne Renegades, and Mumbai Indians Women.

In the third T20I at Canterbury, she scored an unbeaten 8 runs and bowled with good speed, finishing with figures of 0 for 24. She also took wickets in domestic cricket for Warwickshire before the tournament.
