Match 10 – ICC Women’s World T20 Warmups 2018 – West Indies vs New Zealand Women

Tenth and final practice match was between West Indies and New Zealand, where Hayley & co restricted New Zealand to 122-9 in 20 overs and chased the same with 11 balls to spare.

Electing to ball, West Indies restricted Satterthwaite & co at 122-9 in 20 overs. A big hand behind restricting White Ferns was the amazing bowling performance displayed by the bowlers, especially Anisha Mohammed as she took 4 wickets in 4 overs by giving 22 runs.
Maddy Green remained not out on 35 runs. Satterthwaite (28 runs) and S Devine (18 runs) were the other two contributors.
Openers Hayley Matthews and D Dottin gave the required start to the inning by building a partnership of 85 runs for the 1st wicket. Hayley was exceptionally good with her bat, she scored 50 runs in 38 balls with eight boundaries and one six. On the other had Dottin scored 35 runs in 23 balls with six boundaries and one six. S Taylor (26 runs not out) was the other contributor. Lea Tahuhu took a wicket by giving 16 runs in 3 overs.
