Birmingham Phoenix – Emily Arlott

Emily Arlott, born on 23 February 1998, has quickly established herself as a figure in English women’s cricket, a right-arm medium-fast bowler. Representing Worcestershire, Central Sparks, and Birmingham Phoenix, Arlott earned her maiden call-up to the England women’s cricket team in June 2021. Arlott has consistently delivered impactful displays on the field, setting the tone for her team’s bowling attacks. Her standout performances in The Hundred, where she claimed nine wickets in 2022 and seven in 2023, highlight her ability to contribute effectively to her team’s success.

Arlott’s achievements extend beyond her on-field ability, as evidenced by her inclusion in the inaugural PCA Team of the Year in 2021. With a career spanning from 2021 to 2023 in The Hundred, she has played 21 matches and taken 22 wickets, achieving a notable best of 3/15.

London Spirit – Sophie Munro

Munro gained initial recognition with Yorkshire Diamonds in the 2018 Women’s Cricket Super League before making her mark in The Hundred.

In 2021, Munro played for London Spirit, where she took three wickets in five matches at an average of 37.00. She later moved to Trent Rockets in 2022 and returned to London Spirit in 2023. Her career in The Hundred has seen her claim a total of five wickets so far. In May 2024, it was announced she would join Sunrisers on loan for the 2024 Charlotte Edwards Cup, the premier domestic T20 competition, where she excelled with 12 wickets in 7 matches, achieving her best figures of 4/23. Over the span from 2021 to 2023, she amassed a total of 26 wickets in the tournament seasons.

During this season, Morris achieved several milestones, including scoring her maiden half-century and claiming the first-ever five-wicket haul in the Women’s Hundred. Her exceptional bowling performance against Birmingham Phoenix, where she recorded figures of 5/7, also stands as the best bowling figures in The Hundred to date. Across her career in The Hundred, Morris has played 17 matches, securing 12 wickets and scoring a total of 92 runs.

Northern Superchargers – Davina Perrin

Davina Sarah Perrin, born on September 8, 2006, is an English cricketer and is a right-handed batter. Despite her young age, Perrin has already made significant steps in the professional cricketing world. She initially signed with Birmingham Phoenix for The Hundred’s 2022 season, becoming the youngest player in the competition at just 15 years old. However, despite being part of the Birmingham Phoenix squad from 2022 to 2023, she did not feature in any matches.

Currently, Perrin has moved to Northern Superchargers, marking a new chapter in her career. This transition presents an opportunity for her to further develop and showcase her talent at a competitive level. In the 2024 Charlotte Edwards Cup season, she featured in 11 matches for the Central Sparks, accumulating a total of 245 runs with her highest score being an unbeaten 79 runs. It’ll be hoped she replicates this success in her upcoming The Hundred campaign.

Oval Invincibles – Sophia Smale

Sophia Ann Elizabeth Smale, born on December 8, 2004, is a Welsh cricketer known for her dual role as a slow left-arm orthodox bowler and right-handed batter. She currently represents Wales, Western Storm, and Oval Invincibles, where she has made a significant impact in The Hundred.

In 2022, Smale joined Oval Invincibles as an injury replacement player for Emma Jones and played a key role in their successful title-winning campaign. She featured in all seven matches, emerging as the joint-leading wicket-taker for her team with eight dismissals at an average of 18.25. Her performances earned her recognition as the “summer’s breakout star,” notably for her key dismissals of prominent players like Alyssa Healy and Sophie Devine.

The following year, Smale continued to contribute effectively to the Oval Invincibles in The Hundred, playing another seven matches and securing five wickets at an average of 21.60. Southern Brave – Mary Taylor

In the 2023 season of The Hundred, Taylor featured in a couple of matches for the Southern Brave and demonstrated her bowling by claiming three wickets at an impressive average of 14.33. Her contributions highlight her potential as a valuable all-round asset in T20 cricket. In the 2024 Charlotte Edwards Cup, while playing for the Southern Vipers, she took 4 wickets in 6 matches.

Trent Rockets – Alexa Stonehouse

Alexa Kate Stonehouse, born on December 5, 2004, is an English cricketer, who plays as a right-handed batter and left-arm medium bowler. Currently playing for Kent, SouthEast Stars, and Trent Rockets, she has begun to carve her path in the competitive landscape of women’s cricket across formats.

In the 2022 season of The Hundred, Stonehouse was a member of the Trent Rockets squad, although she did not feature in any matches. However, she bounced back in 2023 with a prominent performance, appearing in seven matches for Trent Rockets in The Hundred. During this season, she demonstrated her bowling capabilities by taking 4 wickets. She claimed 7 wickets in 6 matches during the 2024 Charlotte Edwards Cup season playing for the SouthEast Stars. From 2021 to 2024, her total wicket tally across the seasons amounts to 25 wickets.

Welsh Fire – Georgia Davis

Georgia Katie Davis, born on June 3, 1999, is a right-arm off-break bowler. She currently represents Warwickshire, Central Sparks, and Welsh Fire, showcasing her versatility and effectiveness across formats. Davis initially gained experience in the Women’s Cricket Super League with Yorkshire Diamonds before transitioning to The Hundred.

In the 2021 season of The Hundred, Davis made her mark with Trent Rockets, appearing in five matches and claiming two wickets. She continued to demonstrate her bowling capabilities in the 2022 season, maintaining consistency with another two wickets at an average of 18.50 over five matches for Trent Rockets. Although signed by Welsh Fire for The Hundred in 2023, Davis did not get the opportunity to play, indicating her readiness to contribute whenever called upon. In 2024 while playing for Central Davis in the Charlotte Edwards Cup season, she participated in 11 matches and took 10 wickets.
