Players to watch out:

Bryony Smith

The 25-year-old batter was the 2nd highest run-getter in the recently concluded Charlotte Edwards (CE) Cup. In the 20-over competition, Bryony Smith averaged 36.57 and piled on 255 runs in just 7 games at a strike rate of 155.15. But that’s not all; Smith also scalped 5 wickets during the tournament.

Alana King

The 27-year-old Australian spinner has struck 21 wickets in 22 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) and has been handy with the bat as well. In the competition last summer, Alana struck 7 wickets in as many innings and was the most economical bowler on the show, with an economy rate of 5.40.

Georgia Adams

The 29-year-old batter finished only behind Bryony Smith on the run-getters list at the recently concluded CE Cup. Adams, in 9 games, scored 249 runs, averaging 49.80, and with a lone fifty to her name, registered the highest score of 63*. Georgia also bagged as many as 10 wickets and produced the best figures of 2/20.

Anya Shrubsole

The 31-year-old retired pacer, in 79 T20Is, struck 102 wickets and with the same flare signed off from CE Cup cricket with 13 wickets in 8 outings. Anya delivered her spells at an economy rate of 5.93 and produced the best figures of 4/18. It wouldn’t be surprising if skipper Anya again steals the spotlight and finishes off The Hundred on a high.
