Players to watch out:
Leah Paul
The 24-year-old all-rounder, from 32 ODI outings, has accumulated 896 runs at an average of 28.00, while also taking 6 wickets from 19 innings at an economy rate of 5.39. Leah has been in notable form of late, scoring a solid 33 in the ODI opener of this series, following up her scores of 7, 81, and 19 from her recent series against Sri Lanka. She should be backed to build on the start she has had.
Orla Prendergast
The 22-year-old all-rounder, in ODIs, from 24 outings, has amassed 677 runs at an average of 35.63, and scalped 11 wickets from 14 innings with an economy rate of 4.54, while registering bests of 122* and 3/25. Orla has been in outstanding form of late, and in her previous 4 ODIs, has scalped 8 wickets, while also notching up a fifty and a century. She can be counted on for the goods.
Paige Scholfield
The 28-year-old middle-order batter, from 8 outings in the 2024 One Day competition, posted 252 runs on the board at an average of 31.50, with the highest score of 74. A seasoned campaigner in the domestic circuit, Paige, on her international debut in this ODI series opener, scored a fine 31, and given her recent success, she can be relied upon to lead the scoring while also being handy with the ball.
Hannah Baker
The 20-year-old leg-spinner, maintaining an economy rate of 4.72, bagged 15 wickets from 11 One Dayers in the 2024 domestic season, with the best of 5/45. Hannah has been consistent across domestic competitions over the past couple of seasons, and in her first international, this ODI series opener, returned figures of 1/53 (10). It is hoped she will capitalize on this form.
