Opening batter Alice Clarke fell for a duck off just one ball, caught by wicketkeeper Rhianna Southby off Naomi Dattani to leave Yorkshire at 0/1 in the second over. Skipper Lauren Winfield-Hill looked to establish control alongside Jess Jonassen, constructing a 33-run second-wicket partnership. However, Winfield-Hill was caught behind off Dattani for 24 off 26 balls (5 fours) at 33/2. Jonassen then linked up with Sterre Kalis, adding 44 runs for the third wicket to rebuild the innings.

Chasing a target of 167, Hampshire Women kicked off their pursuit with an aggressive 42-run opening partnership between Ella McCaughan and captain Georgia Adams. McCaughan chipped in with 24 off 37 balls (4 fours) before being caught by Rainey off Jonassen’s bowling at 42/1 in the 10th over. Abi Norgrove joined Adams to build a steady 22-run stand for the second wicket, but Norgrove was eventually caught by Rainey off Jonassen for 8 off 24 balls, leaving Hampshire at 64/2.
Adams led from the front, bringing up a fine half-century as she teamed up with Francesca Sweet for a match-defining 59-run partnership for the third wicket. Adams scored an elegant 61 off 68 balls, featuring 7 boundaries, before Holly Garton bowled her at 123/3 in the 28th over. Sweet then took charge, reaching a fluent, unbeaten 55 off 66 balls (6 fours). She combined with wicketkeeper-batter Rhianna Southby (18* off 34 balls) for an unbroken 47-run fourth-wicket stand to seal the chase. Hampshire reached 170/3 in 38.1 overs with just 4 extras conceded.
