Powered by an outstanding all-round showing from captain Georgia Adams and relentless bowling discipline, Hampshire cruised to a commanding 9-wicket victory with 75 balls remaining.
Opting to bat first, Durham Women suffered an early setback when opener Mia Rogers was trapped LBW by Eliza Bristowe for a 10-ball duck, leaving the score at 1-4 in the fourth over. Opener Emma Marlow and skipper Hollie Armitage anchored the innings with a solid 81-run partnership for the second wicket, steadily rebuilding the foundation.
