Bangladesh’s multi-format tour of Sri Lanka gets underway on the 29th of April, with the 1st of 3 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) at the Pakiasothy Saravanamuttu Stadium, Colombo, at 10:00 AM Indian Standard Time.
The series is a part of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Women’s Championship 2022/23-2025 cycle, which sees Bangladesh and Sri Lanka seeded 7th and 8th respectively.

Inoka Ranaweera
The 37-year-old in 64 ODI outings has struck 70 wickets with a best of 4/39 and in 45 innings with the bat, has got to 196 runs. The veteran spinner alongside her spin twin, Oshadi Ranasinghe, will be a force to be reckoned with.
Nigar Sultana
The 25-year-old keeper-batter has scored 611 runs at an average of 23.50 in 29 ODI innings and has a highest score of 73. Nigar has been good with the bat, but has failed to convert her starts and has lacked consistency and would be aiming for a big series on this occasion.
Jahanara Alam
The 30-year-old in 50 ODI games has struck 46 wickets at an economy rate of 4.16 and has got the best bowling figures of 3/18. Jahanara has been handy with the bat as well scoring a few late runs. During a warm-up game in the lead-up to the series, Jahanara registered a 16* with the bat and 0/18 (5) with the ball.
