Players To Watch :

Ayesha Naseem

The attacking 18-year-old batter in the Asia Cup has looked off-colour, but hopefully returns to some form as she with her late surge can guide Pakistan to get over the line. Ayesha in 18 innings has scored 233 runs at a strike rate of 116.58 and has got the highest score of 58* to her name in the Twenty20 Internationals.

Harshitha Madavi

The impressive 24-year-old opener, in 28 innings, has scored 471 runs and her highest score of 81 had come in the ongoing Asia Cup tournament against Thailand. It was after she failed to convert a few starts, that she put on a fine 81 and her good form sees her as the 2nd on the list of most run-getter with 165 runs to her name off 5 innings.

Tuba Hassan

The exciting 21-year-old leg-break bowler has picked up 12 wickets in 12 innings and has got the best figures of 3/8 to her name. The tournament alone has seen Tuba Hassan in fine form as she’s registered figures of 2/13, 0/13, 2/18, 1/32 and 0/10.

Inoka Ranaweera

The veteran 36-year-old has picked up 64 wickets in 59 innings with the best figures of 4/7 that’d come in her most outing against Bangladesh. In the tournament, she’d not had the best of starts having registered figures of 0/34 against India, but made a strong comeback with figures of 2/7, 1/19, 2/8 and now her career best of 4/7.

Pitch :

The 22 yards at the venue please the spinners and pacers with variations can look to extract enough from the surface. The batters ideally should look to spend some time in the middle and then opt to switch gears in wanting to play aggressive cricket. With that said, a target around the 145 mark should bring to us a good competitive game.

Weather :

With shower spells on the radar, the weather isn’t the most ideal for a good and complete game of cricket. If the rain stays away and we have a game, the temperature is forecasted to hover around the mid to late 20s.

Fantasy Playing XI :

Muneeba Ali, Chamari Athapaththu, Sidra Ameen, Harshitha Madavi, Bismah Maroof, Nilakshi de Silva, Nida Dar, Aliya Riaz, Oshadi Ranasinghe, Inoka Ranaweera, Tuba Hassan
