Han Lili
The 33-year-old all-rounder from 21 outings has added 267 runs to the tally, including the highest of 45*, while also striking 19 wickets from 16 innings. Han hasn’t had a bowl lately, while with the bat, has registered scores of 11 and 29 this tournament. It’ll be expected of the seasoned campaigner to build on these scores, delivering a big knock.
Mengting Liu
The 22-year-old left-arm off-spinner, maintaining an economy rate of 5.02, has bagged 11 wickets from as many bowling innings and registered the best of 3/15. In the tournament opener, while Mengting finished wicketless with figures of 0/29, she followed up with figures of 3/15. The team will count on her to produce breakthroughs.
Nitya Joshi
The 15-year-old left-arm pacer debuted in the season opener with a mature 41, however, departed for just 1 in the following game. Nitya showed a lot of promise in her 53-ball, 43-run inning against Japan and will be backed to find her way back amongst runs.
Amanda Dcosta
The 18-year-old left-arm off-spinner, from 10 T20I outings, has picked up 11 wickets, including the best of 5/11, maintaining an economy rate of 6.25, while also being handy with the bat. Amanda has returned figures of 1/22 and 1/36 this tournament, while not scoring significantly yet. She’ll be banked upon for the goods.
Pitch:
The Selangor Turf Club dishes out a fairly balanced center wicket, but bowlers, pacers, in particular, hold an advantage. The average score at the venue is in the 110s, and batters, when they have spent enough time in the middle, can switch gears seamlessly.
