In a low-scoring opener, Naruemol kicked off her campaign with an 18-ball 21* and it’ll be expected of the seasoned opening-batter to lead the scoring, capitalizing on this start.
Nattaya Boochatham
The 37-year-old all-rounder, in T20Is, from 77 outings has scalped 110 wickets, including the highest of 5/5, and has also chipped in with the bat, adding 560 runs to the tally from 53 innings. Nattaya, in the opener, returned figures of 1/7 (3) and wasn’t required with the bat. She can be counted on to deliver the goods.
Zeefa Jilani
The 17-year-old batter, from 27 T20I outings, has accumulated 268 runs, including the highest of 49*. Notably, Zeefa rewrote her career best of 49* in the tournament opener and it’ll be hoped she continues forward this form into the business end, while also delivering with the ball, leaving an all-round impact.
Maria Jasvi
The 22-year-old pacer has picked up 31 T20I wickets from 34 outings, including the best of 5/6, at an economy rate of 5.43, and has also scored 62 runs. Maria was in fine form in the lead-up to the competition, continuing the same, returned figures of 2/21 in the opener and it’ll be hoped she leads the tally.
