Kavisha Egodage’s cricket journey began at an early age, marking her debut for the UAE Women’s Team at just 11 in the 2014 Gulf Cup Championship. Since then, she’s been a consistent force, making her WT20I debut in 2018 against the Netherlands and notching up her maiden century in the 2019 Women’s Emirates Cricket Board League. Notably, she became the youngest player to score an international fifty, breaking Sachin Tendulkar’s record. Her talent earned her accolades, including the 2019 Shyam Bhatia Best Female Cricketer of the Year Award. She’s also marked milestones such as being the highest run-scorer in Women’s T20Is in 2022.
Throughout various tournaments, like the Global Qualifiers 2022 and the Women’s Twenty20 Asia Cup, Kavisha has consistently contributed to her team’s success.
