Laasya Amrutha Reddy-led Singapore were up against Myanmar, led by skipper Aye Myat Noe, at Selangor Turf Club, Kuala Lumpur, on 15th July 2026 in the ongoing edition of the ACC Women’s U19 Premier Cup 2026.

Singapore got off to the worst possible start, losing their top-order, as they were reduced to 10/4 inside the powerplay after skipper Laasya Amrutha Reddy won the toss and opted to bat first. The wicket-keeper batter Dhwani Prakas joined Jui Rameshwar Surwase at the crease, and the duo took the innings deeper with a 19-run stand for the 5th wicket. An unfortunate run-out ended Dhwani Prakas’s gritty stay (7 off 19 balls) at the crease in the 14th over of the innings to provide the 5th breakthrough for Myanmar.
Karthika Chelladurai (8* off 19 balls) joined Jui Rameshwar Surwase (21* off 56 balls) at the crease, and they showed remarkable character under pressure despite struggling to get the momentum they would’ve liked in the innings. They refused to let the pressure get the better of them as they guided Singapore past the 50-run mark with an unbeaten 33-run stand for the 6th wicket. They eventually posted 62/5 in their quota of 20 overs, providing some sort of respectability to their total.
The innings had as many as 18 extras. Skipper Aye Myat Noe (4-8-3), Htet Htet Swe (4-10-1), Wathon Nadi (4-14-0), and Myat Hsu Mon (4-15-0) were the top performers with the ball for Myanmar.
The Myanmar openers Htet Htet Swe (28* off 43 balls) and skipper Aye Myat Noe (30* off 39 balls) made light work of the run chase of 63, weathering the tricky powerplay phase with smart strike rotation and finding gaps in the field, capitalising on the loose deliveries. The pair not only grew in confidence, but also ensured that they guided their side over the line with an unbeaten opening stand.
The pair took the target down in the 14th over with 38 balls to spare. The Myanmar skipper smashed four boundaries, while her opening partner smashed a couple away to the ropes, not allowing the Singapore bowlers to settle into their rhythm. The innings had five extras. Ankitha Varsha Raj (4-17-0) and Anushka Tomar (3-18-0) were impressive with the ball for Singapore.
The Myanmar skipper Aye Myat Noe was awarded the Player of the Match for her decisive all-round show, returning with match figures (4-8-3) with the ball, and scoring an unbeaten 30* (39 balls) with the bat for her side in the run chase.
