Elena Gebhard made 5 before being run out, while wicketkeeper Pooja Agarwal was trapped lbw by Talamarla for just 2. Those early wickets left Luxembourg struggling at 18/2 before they slipped further to 22/3.

Luxembourg were helped by 33 extras, including 28 wides and five no-balls, which made up a large part of their final total of 68.

The Czech Republic bowlers worked together well. Desika Marikova-Moodley finished with excellent figures of 3 wickets for 14 runs from four overs. Erika Kuncova also took 3 wickets while giving away only 11 runs in 3.5 overs. Sowjanya Talamarla picked up 2 wickets for 23 runs. Erika Kuncova was named Player of the Match for her excellent all-round performance. She first impressed with the ball by taking 3 wickets for only 11 runs and then stayed unbeaten on 16 to help her team complete the easy chase.

The win gave Czech Republic Women two more points and kept them at the top of the Women Central Europe Cup 2026 points table.
