Radha Yadav’s talent was spotted early by coach Prafful Naik while playing cricket with boys in her housing society. She started with Mumbai before later representing Baroda domestically and steadily climbed India’s pathway system.

She made her T20I debut against South Africa in 2018 and quickly established herself as a regular in India’s shortest-format setup. Radha featured in the 2018 and 2020 Women’s T20 World Cups, the 2022 Commonwealth Games silver-medal campaign, and India’s Asia Cup triumph in 2022 before becoming part of India’s ODI World Cup-winning squad in 2025.

Radha’s greatest strength remains her wicket-to-wicket left-arm spin and ability to build pressure through middle overs. Across 89 T20Is, she has picked up 103 wickets at an outstanding average of 19.09, maintaining an economy of 6.61 and strike rate of 17.3, with best figures of 4 for 23. She also crossed the milestone of 100 T20I wickets, highlighting her longevity and consistency in the format.

While bowling remains her primary skill, Radha has significantly improved her batting over the past year. Her finishing ability became a major storyline during WPL 2026 after her move to Royal Challengers Bengaluru. She enjoyed a career-defining campaign, evolving into a genuine lower-order contributor and middle-order stabiliser. A maiden WPL fifty, 66 off 47 balls against Gujarat Giants after RCB slipped to 43 for 4 showcased her batting growth, while her composure under pressure was on display again in the final when she struck the winning boundaries to secure RCB’s second WPL title.

Leadership has also become an emerging strength. In February 2026, Radha captained India A in the Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars tournament in Bangkok, leading the side to the title while finishing as the joint-highest wicket-taker with 10 wickets.

England conditions could suit Radha’s style. Left-arm spinners capable of bowling accurately into the stumps and forcing mistakes often thrive in T20 cricket there, particularly during middle overs when teams look to accelerate.
