The hosts got off to a positive start, winning the 1st T20I by 3 runs while defending a total of 123. Maria Syrioti 25 (36 balls), wicket-keeper batter Aggeliki Ioanna Argyropoulou 23 (21 balls), and Adamantia Makri 23 (39 balls) were the top performers with the bat for Greece in the first innings after skipper Aggeliki Savvani won the toss and opted to bat first. In the 2nd game of the series on the opening day on 10th May 2026, the Denmark skipper, Line Ostergaard, won the toss and took the opportunity to put the runs on the board.
