In Collaboration with the Mumbai Indians, Malaysia Airlines has introduced an exclusive A330 Livery that features a unique design based on the team’s colours. The unveiling of the customised aircraft took place on 23rd April 2026, in Mumbai, marking the transformation of an A330-300 aircraft with a dynamic livery inspired by the iconic Blue and Gold theme of the Mumbai Indians.

The dynamic pulse and patterns derived from the team’s emblematic, Chakra symbolise the power of cricket fans and the growing popularity of the sport, mixing elements of sports and culture in addition to the airline’s signature blues.
Design and Symbolism
Aiming to represent Mumbai’s energetic spirit and celebrate the team’s increasing popularity around the world, as well as the Malaysia Airlines connection, the customised design is inspired by the Chakra, which represents the growth and development of the team. In addition to being part of the Tata Women’s Premier League (WPL) and winning a couple of championships, the inaugural title in 2023 and backed up by the 2nd title in the year 2025, which was the 3rd edition of the tournament, under the captaincy of skipper Harmanpreet Kaur, defeating the Delhi Capitals on both occasions. The livery pays homage to the matchday experience and the team itself.

This campaign relates to the Bonus Side Trip by Malaysia Airlines, which provides complimentary domestic side trips from Kuala Lumpur for transit passengers.
