The chase began on a positive note, though RCB lost Grace Harris early for 9. That early setback did little to dent their confidence as skipper Smriti Mandhana took charge immediately. Playing one of the finest knocks of the season, Mandhana smashed 87 off just 41 balls, striking 12 fours and 3 sixes, and ensuring the required run rate never spiraled out of control. Her ability to find boundaries kept Delhi’s bowlers on the back foot throughout her stay at the crease.

Georgia Voll complemented her captain perfectly with a crucial 79 off 54 deliveries. Voll played the anchor’s role with maturity, rotating the strike well and accelerating when needed, including 14 boundaries that kept the scoreboard moving. The 165-run partnership between Mandhana and Voll proved to be the defining phase of the chase, swinging the momentum firmly in RCB’s favour.

After their dismissals, RCB were 191 for 4, with the finish line in sight. Richa Ghosh contributed a brief 6, while Nadine de Klerk remained unbeaten on 7. Radha Yadav added the final flourish with an unbeaten 12 off just 5 balls, striking two boundaries to seal the win in dramatic fashion.

RCB eventually finished on 204 for 4 in 19.4 overs, completing the chase with two balls to spare. It was a remarkable run chase built on leadership, partnerships, and nerves of steel in an innings that crowned RCB Women champions in style and will be remembered as one of the most memorable finals in WPL history.
