Despite being restricted to 141, with only Jemimah Rodrigues scoring above 30, the team emphasized the importance of re-grouping and learning from their mistakes.

Head coach Jonathan Batty and assistant coach Lisa Keightley shared their insights, while the team showed appreciation for their fans by sharing glimpses of their support.

The video offered a sneak peek into the players’ reactions and emotions post-match and also featured the presentation of the Tiger Award, highlighting the team’s commitment to resilience and improvement.

Lisa expressed confidence in the team’s ability to bounce back, saying “I think that everyone knows that we didn’t play our best tonight, but I am confident we will bounce back.”

Jonathan echoed this sentiment, stating that having a bad day early in the tournament can be beneficial, saying “If you are going to have a bad day at the office, I think to get it out of the way early on in the tournament is probably best.”

He acknowledged that the team’s execution was poor, leading to a below-par score of 141, and emphasized that they gifted their wickets to RCB. Jonathan concluded by urging the team to learn from their mistakes, saying “We’re not gonna throw the baby out of the bathwater… I just want us to go think about how we put it right on Wednesday.”

In a heartwarming moment, coach Jonathan Batty asked Niki Prasad, the Under-19 youngster, to present the Tiger Award to the player she thought performed best that night.
