History:
The competition, initially named the New Zealand Women’s T20 competition, was rebranded as the Women’s Super Smash a couple seasons later. Defending champions Wellington Blaze stand as the most successful team in the tournament’s history, boasting eight titles, followed closely by the Canterbury Magicians (4).
Format:
The competition will follow a double round-robin format, with each team playing 10 league matches. A win earns 4 points, while a tie or no result awards 2 points. The top-ranked team at the end of the league stage advances directly to the final, while the 2nd and 3rd seeded teams will compete in an Eliminator to secure the remaining spot in the Final.
