Sneh Rana, leading the Maharashtra side, opted to bat first in this high-stakes encounter. Navgire entered the fray when Maharashtra’s innings were precariously placed at 159/5 with 11 overs remaining. The right-hander wasted no time settling in, unleashing a barrage of big hits that shifted the momentum decisively.

The 42nd over, bowled by Railways’ left-arm spinner Preeti Bose, became the highlight of Navgire’s innings as she smashed three sixes. She stepped down the pitch on the second ball and dispatched it over mid-wicket for her first six of the over. The third ball met a similar fate, as she once again stepped down and powered it over the long-on boundary and the final ball of the over saw Navgire step down again, smashing it over long-on to cap a remarkable 20-run over.

Her power-hitting prowess didn’t stop there. Her fearless approach and immaculate timing kept the pressure on the opposition, highlighting her ability to dominate bowlers in the death overs.

Navgire’s innings also featured a crucial 75-run partnership for the seventh wicket with Dhyaneshwari Patil, helping Maharashtra recover and post a competitive total of 254 runs. With a strike rate of 256, Navgire emerged as the top scorer for her side, her knock standing out as one of the most destructive performances of the tournament.
