India B got off to a good start, by sending G Trisha back to the pavilion in the 2nd over of the innings after skipper Niki Prasad won the toss and opted to field first. Sanika joined Kavya at the crease and the duo led some sort of a recovery with a crucial 25-run 2nd wicket partnership before Kesari Drithi picked up the wicket of Kavya to provide the 2nd breakthrough for India B.
Decent partnerships throughout the innings took India A to a respectable total of 128/5 in their quota of 20 overs. Skipper Sanika Chalke scored an impressive half-century (54 off 45 balls), Joshitha V J (21 off 15 balls), and wicket-keeper batter Bhavika Ahire (21* off 26 balls) were the other top performers with the bat for India A. Nandhana Sridharan (4-0-18-1), Vaishnavi Sharma (4-0-21-1), Parunika Sisodia (4-0-23-1), and Kesari Drithi were among the wickets for India B.

India B openers Bharti Upadhaya and Ishwari Awasare got their side off to a steady start with a 29-run opening partnership, chasing a modest total of 129. Joshitha V J provided the first breakthrough for India A, dismissing Awasare and her fellow opener soon followed her back to the pavilion.
Skipper Niki Prasad (24* off 20 balls) joined wicket-keeper batter G Kamalini (63* off 44 balls) at the crease and the duo took their side over the line with an unbeaten 79-run 3rd wicket partnership. India B clinched the game comfortably by 8 wickets and one over to spare. Chandni Sharma (4-0-25-1), Joshitha V J (3-0-17-1), Shabnam (2-0-11-0) and Happy Kumari (2-0-10-0) were the positives with the ball for India A.
