Neha Chillar
The 28-year-old all-rounder bagged a couple of wickets from her two overs in the season opener, including the wicket of a set batter, while conceding 14 runs. She’ll be backed to convert this start into a substantial score and continue her bowling form, producing the goods with both bat and ball.
Parunika Sisodia
The 19-year-old left-arm off-spinner took 10 wickets at an average of 10.40 and an economy rate of 4.76 from 6 outings in the 2023-24 Senior Women’s T20 Trophy. Ahead of the 2024-25 domestic season, Parunika has started this campaign with a brilliant spell of 1/20 (4) in the tournament opener. She is a highly promising spinner and can be relied upon to lead the wickets tally.
Priya Punia
The 28-year-old top-order batter accumulated 131 runs at a strike rate of 111.01 from 6 outings in the 2023-24 domestic season of the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy. Priya is a seasoned batter in the domestic circuit and most recently, on the India ‘A’ tour of Australia in August 2024, registered scores of 76, 29, and 11 in the three T20s. In this tournament opener, while she departed cheaply for 12, she can be counted on to lead the scoring.
Priya Mishra
The 20-year-old spinner picked up 8 wickets from 6 outings in the 2023-24 Senior Women’s T20 Trophy, maintaining an economy rate of 6.34. Priya was a standout last domestic season and was rewarded with a call-up for the India ‘A’ tour of Australia, where she produced figures of 5/14, 4/58, and 2/59 in her only one-dayer and the one-off Test. She took a wicket in this campaign opener and can be relied upon to lead the tally.
