Initially, with the bat, Amy Jones came in when the hosts were restricted to 29 for 2. Jones didn’t receive much support from the other end as wickets kept falling at regular intervals. However, Jones took center stage, smashing 51 off 36 balls. The right-handed batter hit eight boundaries in her innings. She was the top scorer for her side, whose innings also helped Birmingham to put up a total of 137.
