Katherine Sciver-Brunt and Karen Moorhouse added to YCCC Board of Directors

The Yorkshire County Cricket Club (YCCC) has recently added former legendary England all-rounder Katherine Sciver-Brunt, and the CEO of the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) Karen Moorhouse to the board of directors for the club.

The current board of directors in the YCCC club includes Colin Graves, Phillip Hodson, Sanjay Patel, Sanjeev Gandhi, Leslie Ferrar, Ian Townsend, and Stephen Vaughan. The former England all-rounder Katherine Sciver-Brunt and Karen Moorhouse are the latest entrants into the committee.

The former England all-rounder Katherine Sciver-Brunt made her international debut on 21st August 2004 in a Test match against New Zealand. She has picked up 51 wickets at an average of 21.52 and an economy of 2.52 in 25 innings with the ball. Her tally of wickets includes one four-wicket haul and three five-wicket haul in the red-ball format. Apart from her exploits with the ball, she has also scored 184 runs including one half-century with the bat in 18 innings.

She made her ODI debut on March 13 2005 against South Africa. She has picked up 170 wickets at an average of 24 and an economy of 3.57 in 139 innings. Her tally of wickets includes three four-wicket hauls and 5 five-wicket hauls to her name in the ODI format. Apart from her exploits with the ball, she has also scored 1090 runs at a strike rate of 75.79 in 82 innings. Her tally of runs includes a couple of half-centuries.

She made her T20I debut on 2nd September 2005 against Australia. She has picked up 114 wickets at an average of 19.19 and an economy of 5.57 in 111 innings. Her tally of wickets includes one four-wicket haul. Apart from her exploits with the ball, she has scored 590 runs at a strike rate of 113.24 in 67 innings with the bat. As far as franchise cricket is concerned, she has represented Trent Rockets in the Women’s Hundred, Perth Scorchers and Melbourne Stars in the Women’s Big Bash League, and Yorkshire Diamonds in the Women’s Cricket Super League.
