Watch Highlights: 4th T20I – England dominates fourth T20I with Sarah Glenn’s 4-fer

New Zealand is currently on a tour of England for a limited-overs series, which started on June 26 and will conclude on July 17. The series began with the hosts whitewashing the White Ferns 3-0 in the ODI series. Following the ODIs, England has already secured the five-match T20I series, winning four out of the five T20Is, with one final T20I scheduled for July 17. They secured a 7-wicket victory over New Zealand in the fourth T20I.

Highlights from the match:

Maddy Green 24 (NZ): The White Ferns’ middle-order batter, Maddy Green, was the second-highest scorer for New Zealand, helping to stabilize the innings. She came to bat when New Zealand lost their fourth wicket for 42. Green smashed two boundaries in her 24-run knock before being dismissed by English leg-spinner Sarah Glenn. With these 24 runs, she crossed the mark of 1000 T20I runs.

Sarah Glenn 4/19 (ENG): The English spinner took four wickets in the fourth T20I at The Oval, finishing with figures of 4 for 19 in England’s fourth consecutive win over the White Ferns in the T20I series. Following her spectacular spell, she was named Player of the Match. Glenn’s first victim was the White Ferns opener, Georgia Plimmer, whose stumps were dismantled. This was followed by Amelia Kerr’s two-ball duck. Glenn also dismissed the well-set Maddy Green for 24, who was New Zealand’s second-highest scorer. Her fourth wicket came in the form of Jess Kerr, marking Glenn’s best bowling figures in T20Is.
