Cricket West Indies (CWI) organized Women’s Super50 Cup returns for its 36th edition, scheduled from the 4th to the 13th of March, 2024, and so does the Twenty20 (T20) Blaze, for its 8th edition, from the 17th to the 25th of March, 2024. From squads and schedules to broadcasting details and format, below is everything you need to know about CWI’s elite domestic competition for women.

Consistently, championship contention has revolved around three teams in both competitions. Trinidad & Tobago lead the Super50 Cup with 13 titles, while in the Blaze, Jamaica holds three trophies, with Barbados equalling as the most successful team. Heading into the 2024 season, Barbados defends their titles in both the Super50 Cup and the Twenty20 Blaze, having secured four consecutive wins in the Super50 Cup and reclaimed the Twenty20 Blaze title in 2023.

Format:

In both the 50-over and T20 competitions, six teams – Barbados, Jamaica, Windward Islands, Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana, and Leeward Islands – will battle it out for the championship over the course of 5 rounds. The table-toppers in each competition will be crowned champions.
