The ICC Women’s T20I World Cup will be hosted by Bangladesh and will get underway from September, after the conclusion of the Asia Cup, later this year. The ACC Women’s Asia Cup will take place in the T20I format courtesy of being a T20 World Cup year. Get ready for an exciting showdown as 16 Asian women’s cricket teams battle it out in the upcoming ACC Women’s Premier Cup 2024, hosted in Malaysia.
Tournament Format:
The tournament will be played in a single round-robin format. The top two teams from each group will make it to the knockout stages, ie. the quarterfinals. The four semi-finalists from the tournament will book a place for themselves in the ACC Women’s Emerging Asia Cup 2025. The winners and the runners-up of the tournament will seal a spot in the ACC Women’s Asia Cup in September, later this year.
