The first semi-final of the inaugural edition of the ICC Women’s U19 T20 World Cup will be played between India and New Zealand on January 27 at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom, South Africa. The game will begin at 1.30 PM IST (10 AM LOCAL).

Shweta Sehrawat:
The dashing right-handed opening batter of India Women’s U19 is the leading run-scorer for her team and the second-highest overall in the tournament with 231 runs in five matches. The vice-captain of the side has struck a couple of half-centuries and has the best of 92 not out.
Parshavi Chopra:
The wily right-arm leg-spinner of India Women’s U19 has accounted for six wickets in four fixtures, including the tournament-best figures of 5/4. She bowls well in the middle phase of the innings and is an excellent fielder of her bowling. She can be a handy middle-order batter.
Anna Browning:
The star all-rounder of New Zealand Women’s U19 can open the batting and bowling. The right-hander has registered 126 runs in four matches, including the highest score of 38 not out. With the ball, the right-arm seamer has scalped four wickets.
Natasha Wakelin:
The right-arm speedster of New Zealand Women’s U19 has been the most successful bowler for her side in this competition so far. She has claimed six wickets in four outings, including the best of 14/3. She bowls at an economy of under four and a half runs per over.
Pitch
It will be the 13th game of the competition at this venue. Out of the 12 matches played here till January 26, the teams batting first and second have won six each. The average first innings score is 160, and the average second innings score is 84. The surface looks good to bat on in the first innings; however, it seems to get difficult for the batters in the latter half of the game.
