There’s no official update on her availability for the game against Pakistan but what’s certain is that she’ll be in the XI against Barbados for the final league stage game on the 3rd of August. India will wish to have Pooja Vastrakar for the all-important game against Pakistan. India missed an experienced pacer against Australia and the need for Pooja Vastrakar was felt as it did to Renuka Singh Thakur who quoted, “We wanted to win the match and it was definitely in our hands almost till the end. But we only have two fast bowlers now and the wicket is helping the fast bowlers. We missed Pooja (Vastrakar).”

India with the bat couldn’t make it count big, especially with the middle order collapse and that’s another aspect where Pooja Vastrakar for India of late has been very handy, keep aside the quality bowling she produces very often. That’s the complete package Pooja Vastrakar is that India at the moment is missing and missing her big time.

Pakistan hasn’t got their batters firing and India who’s got a good and strong batting lineup will look to post a strong total eying a comprehensive win to not fail out on qualifying due to the net run rate. India after a disappointing bowling outing might relook at their mix and it’s very likely that we see Sneh Rana in for India’s game against Pakistan.
