ICC T20I Rankings Out : Mandhana At Her Career Best
Even after losing the T20 series against England here’s some good news for the Indian women’s cricket team. India opener Smriti Mandhana moved three places up and reached her career-best third position in the latest ICC Women’s T20I Player rankings released on Sunday.
Mandhana, who scored 72 runs in the three matches, including a fifty in the third match has been rewarded for her consistent good performance. On the other hand, Harmanpreet, who had to miss England series following an ankle injury, slipped two places to the ninth spot.
Among Indian bowlers, Radha Yadav moved five places up to reach fifth position. The left-arm spinner Ekta Bisht also moved three places to reach 56th in the list. Anuja Patil, the off spinner moved up from 35th to 31st position.
In team ranking India is currently at fifth position with Australia leading the list. England, courtesy to their brilliant performance on Indian soil overtook New Zealand to reach at the second position.
