Further, medical professionals will also be taken into the mix while the program is carried forward. Richard Done, who is the director of Cricket Operations for the USA cricket, said that “We are pleased to be able to reschedule the final two events to complete the series of talent identification events for women and girls. Our focus has very much been on player welfare for all of our cricketing activity in 2020 and putting in place guidelines and protocols to ensure that all participants, coaches, and volunteers are not put at any undue risk. The support from our local cricket communities has been terrific and October is shaping up to be an exciting month for women’s cricket in the USA. Starting out with the Plano, Texas event on October 11th and then moving on to San Francisco and Seattle for the following two weekends, we are anticipating three strongly attended events and some new and exciting talent to surface”.

America, with the sports-loving culture, can be an integral page in the history of cricket. The involvement of women, from around the world, in cricket will change the game for good. More female stars from these countries will enable women’s cricket to have its own identity. An identity that reflects people and enables them.
