On October 25, the United States went on to win the 2021 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Americas Region Qualifier, which was played among four teams, namely, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, and the USA, in Mexico. The tournament was played from October 18 to October 25. Each team played two matches against the other. A total of 12 matches were played. The USA won the tournament, winning five out of their six matches. With this win, the USA has advanced for the ICC World T20 Global Qualifiers that will be played in 2022.

The USA put up a solid show in the tournament and it was a great team effort. There were a few players who stood out with their stellar performances with bat and ball.
The team’s opening bat Gargi Bhogle completed the tournament as the second leading run-getter. The southpaw scored 95 runs in six innings, including the best of 39 not out. She averaged 23.75 and was the highest run-scorer for the USA. Giving her company was the vice-captain Shebani Bhaskar, who was the second-highest run-getter for the USA and third overall. The right-hand opening bat mustered 87 runs at an average of 21.75, including the best of 29.
With the ball, the USA bowlers had a good outing. Right arm seamer Suhani Thadani was the most successful bowler for the USA and third overall, picking up eight wickets, including the best of 4-6. She averaged 3.87 and bowled at an economy of just 1.63. Moksha Chaudhary was the other bowler who did well for the USA in the competition. The right arm speedster struck with seven wickets, including the best of 3-7. She averaged 10.42 and had an economy of 3.04.
