Emma Lai, a 36-year-old right-arm medium-fast bowler, embarked on her international journey on January 13, 2019, against Bhutan during the Thailand Women’s T20 Smash in Bangkok. Her debut match was a disappointing one with the bat, as she managed to score only 1 run off 20 deliveries. Despite this underwhelming start, Emma persevered and went on to feature in 27 international matches.
