South Delhi Superstarz Women began their innings with Shweta Sehrawat and Priya Punia at the crease. The opening pair did not have much time to settle, but Priya immediately showed positive intent, scoring 9 from just four deliveries with two boundaries. Her brisk start helped South Delhi move to 15 before she was dismissed at 15-1 in the 1.1 overs, caught by Yadav off Soni. Shweta, meanwhile, continued to anchor the innings and found a valuable partner in Tanisha Singh.

The second-wicket partnership became the foundation of the innings as the pair added 41 runs together, taking the score from 15 to 56. Shweta contributed 26 from 21 balls, striking three fours, while Tanisha Singh provided the acceleration with 19 from 13 deliveries, also hitting three boundaries. Their partnership gave South Delhi Superstarz Women batting the stability required in a shortened format where every delivery carries added importance.

The momentum changed sharply once Tanisha departed for 19 at 56-2 in the 5.4 overs, dismissed through a run-out involving Goel and Bidhuri. South Delhi then lost wickets in quick succession as Central Delhi Queens attempted to pull the innings back. Nishika Singh could not get going and was dismissed for a first-ball duck, caught by Goel off Bidhuri. Tanishqa Singh also departed without scoring after being run out by Goel and Singh.

Disha Nagar added four from three balls, including a boundary, before she was caught by Yadav off Soni. Ananya Pahuja remained unbeaten on 5 from four deliveries, while Ekta Bhadana finished not out on 0 from one ball. With five extras also contributing to the score, South Delhi Superstarz Women reached 68 for six after eight overs.

Central Delhi Queens’ chase began disastrously when Saachi was dismissed for a first-ball duck, caught by Singh off Roopali Mohan, leaving the side at 0-1 after just one delivery. Deeksha Sharma, however, responded with intent and found an attacking partner in Arushi Goel. The pair rebuilt the innings with a 29-run partnership, taking Central Delhi Queens to 29 before Arushi was dismissed for 14 from 12 balls. Her innings included two boundaries and helped keep the chase alive.

Deeksha continued to take responsibility, scoring 22 from 16 deliveries with four fours. She was eventually run out by Kashish as Central Delhi Queens reached 41-3, bringing another important partnership to an end. Monika then attempted to maintain the momentum, scoring 9 from six balls with one boundary, but she too was run out in a period when South Delhi’s fielding pressure was beginning to tell.

Nidhi Mahto contributed three from eight deliveries before being caught by Sehrawat off Medhavi Bidhuri, leaving Central Delhi Queens further behind the required rate. Riya Kondal remained unbeaten on 1 from three balls, while Soni Yadav, the captain, finished unbeaten on 2 from four deliveries. Despite their best efforts, Central Delhi Queens could only reach 57 for five in their eight overs, falling 11 runs short.

The chase had promised more after the 29-run Deeksha-Arushi partnership, but regular wickets prevented Central Delhi Queens from building the late surge needed to overhaul the target. The Central Delhi Queens Women bowling performance was led by Surniti Soni and Medhavi Bidhuri, who both finished with two wickets. Surniti Soni conceded 14 runs from her two overs and claimed the wickets of Priya Punia and Disha Nagar, while Medhavi Bidhuri also took two wickets for 14 runs in two overs, dismissing Tanisha Singh and Nishika Singh.

For South Delhi Superstarz, Roopali Mohan opened the bowling with two overs for 15 runs and one wicket, while Disha Nagar bowled two overs for 12 wickets and also took a wicket. Ekta Bhandana completed the bowling effort with two overs for 12 runs and one wicket. Meanwhile, Mayuri Singh conceded 16 runs off 2 overs.
