The latest ICC Women’s T20I Player Rankings have rewarded several performers from Sri Lanka’s recent white-ball series against Pakistan, even as the update arrives during the ongoing sixth edition of The Women’s Hundred, being played from 21 July to 16 August 2026. Sri Lanka, led by Chamari Athapaththu, claimed both the three-match ODI and T20I series by 2-1 margins, while Pakistan’s consolation victory in the final T20I in Dambulla helped several of their leading players make significant progress on the rankings table.
Batting Rankings:
Sri Lanka’s Imesha Dulani was among the biggest beneficiaries in the latest rankings for T20I batters. The right-hander climbed one place to 22nd overall after an outstanding Player of the Series performance against Pakistan. Dulani accumulated 123 runs across the three matches at an impressive average of 61.50, underlining her consistency and importance at the top of Sri Lanka’s batting order.
Sri Lanka’s Nilakshika Silva has climbed up one spot to the 48th position (464 points). Only Pakistan’s Shawaal Zulfiqar scored more runs during the series. The 21-year-old amassed 132 runs and was rewarded with a three-place rise, moving to 49th in the updated T20I batting rankings. Her performances offered Pakistan a major positive from a series in which Sri Lanka ultimately secured a 2-1 victory.
Ayesha Zafar from Pakistan climbed up 27 spots to equal the 61st position (421 points) alongside New Zealand’s Georgia Plimmer. Pauke Siaka from Papua New Guinea has climbed up 5 spots to the 66th position (403 points). Sri Lanka’s Sanjana Kavindi has climbed up 11 spots to equal the 84th position (357 points) alongside New Zealand’s Issy Sharp.
Bowling Rankings:
Pakistan spinner Nashra Sundhu was the biggest winner among the bowlers. The left-armer moved up one place to eighth in the latest ICC Women’s T20I Bowling Rankings after delivering a disciplined spell of 1/17 in the third match at Dambulla. Sundhu was one of Pakistan’s most reliable performers throughout the series, claiming three wickets in total at an excellent economy rate of just 6.72. Her movement into the top eight reflects both her control and her growing influence in Pakistan’s T20I attack.
Teammate Tuba Hassan also made notable progress, rising three places to 48th. Sri Lanka captain Chamari Athapaththu was another major mover, gaining five positions to reach 36th among T20I bowlers. Her improvement adds further value to an all-round international role that remains central to Sri Lanka’s success. Isabel Toua from Papua New Guinea has climbed up 5 spots to the 45th position (504 points).
Onnicha Kamchomphu has climbed up 6 spots to the 69th position (440 points). Thailand’s Sunida Chaturongrattana has climbed up 7 spots to equal the 74th position (420 points) alongside Fariha Trisna from Bangladesh and Caroline de Lange from Thailand. Hane Tau from Papua New Guinea has climbed up 10 spots to equal the 78th position (408 points) alongside Silver Siegers from the Netherlands and Ritu Moni from Bangladesh.
All-rounder Rankings:
Sri Lanka’s Kavisha Dilhari emerged as the leading player on the updated T20I all-rounder rankings. The 25-year-old climbed one place to 13th after finishing as the leading wicket-taker in the series. Her contribution was reinforced by a two-wicket haul in the final match, helping Sri Lanka complete a 2-1 series win despite Pakistan’s spirited consolation victory.
Pakistan’s Ayesha Zafar has earned a massive rise as she has climbed up 24 spots to equal the 39th position (107 points) alongside Australia’s Kim Garth. Pakistan’s Nashra Sandhu has climbed up 3 spots to the 43rd position (103 points). Papua New Guinea’s Isabel Tau has climbed up 5 spots to equal the 63rd position (85 points) alongside Ireland’s Ava Canning. Pakistan’s Tuba Hassan has climbed up 5 spots to equal the 73rd position (73 points) alongside Thailand’s Suleeporn Laomi.
Sri Lanka’s Malki Madara has climbed up 3 spots to equal the 83rd position (65 points) alongside India’s Amanjot Kaur, Sri Lanka’s Nilakshika Silva, and Stafanie Taylor from the West Indies. Papua New Guinea’s Hena Tau has earned a massive rise as she has climbed up 14 spots to equal the 96th position (59 points) alongside Hillman Bermejo, Robine Rijke, Heather Knight, and Shabnim Ismail.
The latest rankings underline the competitive nature of the series. Sri Lanka’s overall dominance translated into gains for Dulani, Athapaththu and Dilhari, while Pakistan’s final-match success ensured that Sundhu, Hassan and Zulfiqar also strengthened their positions on the global ladder.
