Kranti Gaud initially played tennis-ball cricket with boys before a chance opportunity in a local leather-ball game changed her cricketing journey. Her natural speed and athleticism caught the attention of coach Rajiv Bilthre, who helped develop her into a seam-bowling prospect capable of contributing with both bat and ball.
A strong 2024–25 domestic season proved pivotal as Gaud played a major role in Madhya Pradesh winning their maiden domestic one-day title. Her performances earned UP Warriorz a move for her ahead of WPL 2025, where she impressed in her debut season with 9 wickets in 16 matches, including best figures of 4 for 25.
Kranti Gaud’s International Career
That breakthrough accelerated her rise to international cricket. Gaud made her ODI debut during the tri-series featuring South Africa and Sri Lanka in 2025 before earning her WT20I debut on India’s England tour later that year.
