The 4th match of the T20I bilateral series between New Zealand Women and South Africa Women is all set to be played at the Sky Stadium, Wellington. South Africa have faced yet another setback in the series as they were outsmarted by the hosts in the 3rd T20I. Their batting order couldn’t fire much, and there weren’t any real partnerships that troubled the White Ferns. Laura Wolvaardt, the South African skipper, will have to lead the batting unit with her performance to level the series in the next game. As South African Women gear up to take on New Zealand Women, here are the top 3 players to look out for:

Laura Wolvaardt
Laura Wolvaardt, the South African top-order batter and skipper, has been their finest run-getter in white-ball cricket. In her T20I career, she has scored 2415 runs from 85 innings at a strike rate of 118. She is a consistent batter as she can get some runs on the board each time she walks out to bat. In this series, she has had some good starts, and she has also scored a gritty 37 to hold the innings together. She will be a key player in the batting unit as she adds a lot of value to the squad.
Nonkululeko Mlaba
Nokululeko Mlaba, the South African bowler, has been a terrific bowler for the Proteas with her ability to move the ball. In her T20I career, she has picked up 65 wickets from 69 innings at an economy rate of 6. She has been able to produce some good spells of bowling in this series so far. In this series, she has picked up 5 wickets so far, and she also bowled a good spell in the previous game, picking a solitary wicket, and she gave away just 20 runs. She will be looking to bowl even better in the next game to disrupt the momentum of the batters.
Kayla Reyneke
Kayla Reyneke, the South African all-rounder, has been really impressive with her performances and is quite the emerging player. In her T20I career, she has scored 115 runs from 3 innings at a strike rate of 182, and she has also picked up 3 wickets from 4 innings at an economy rate of 7. She has adjusted to international cricket in no time and has already started to trouble the opposition. In this series, she has been unstoppable with the bat, as in the previous game, she scored a brilliant 34 off just 20 balls. She will be confident in her skills to contribute with the bat, and she provides that firepower in the middle order for the Proteas.
