Our Story

What is the Female Cricket Fund?

For ten years, Female Cricket has told the stories of women's cricket. We have watched the game grow. We have watched a generation of girls fall in love with it.

But we have also seen how many talented girls are forced to stop — not because they gave up, but because the support wasn't there.

The Female Cricket Fund is our step towards changing that. This is a one-time support initiative where selected cricketers will receive financial assistance, equipment support, coaching connections, and mentorship — personalised to what each girl actually needs.

In our first batch, we will be selecting 10 girls — one for each year of Female Cricket.

We believe every cricketer's journey is different. There is no fixed amount or one-size-fits-all package. Support is tailored to each girl's individual needs.

Eligibility Criteria

The Female Cricket Fund is open to female cricketers who meet the following criteria:

Passion & CommitmentSerious about the game and committed to continuing their cricket journey

Girls who have recently taken a break from cricket may also apply, provided they can clearly explain the reason and demonstrate a strong commitment to returning to the game.

How It Works

The Selection Process

Our selection is based primarily on talent and passion. Financial background is not required at the application stage — it will only be discussed with shortlisted applicants if needed.

Review

Our team will carefully review every application received.

Shortlisting

Shortlisted applicants will be contacted personally. We will speak with their parents and current coaches (if any), and may request cricket videos or performance records.

Selection Announced

10 girls will be selected and names will be announced by 30th June 2026 on Female Cricket's website and social media handles.

Support Begins

Fund disbursement and relevant support will begin by 31st July 2026.
