The innings was dominated by a sensational knock by captain Alyssa Healy, who scored 158 runs off just 98 balls, including 27 fours and two sixes. Healy was given good support by Beth Mooney, who was unbeaten on 106 runs off 84 deliveries, playing an outstanding innings for the team. Georgia Voll also contributed an elegant 62, while some contributions from Annabel Sutherland and Nicola Carey (34* off 15) helped the team achieve the target of 400+ runs.

India’s bowlers found it hard to restrict the flow of runs on the surface. N Sree Charani and Sneh Rana took two wickets each, while Renuka Singh, Kashvee Gautam, and Deepti Sharma managed to pick one wicket each, but none of them could restrict the scoring rate by the Australian team.

Chasing a daunting target of 410, India never quite gained momentum. The early dismissal of Smriti Mandhana put the visitors under pressure. Pratika Rawal showed intent with a brisk 27, striking six boundaries, but she too fell while trying to keep up with the rising required rate. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur and Deepti Sharma tried to steady the innings, but both struggled to accelerate against disciplined bowling and sharp fielding. Wickets kept falling at crucial intervals preventing India from building any partnerships.

Jemimah Rodrigues showed some spirit with a quick 42 off 29 balls, while Sneh Rana, lower down the order, was the highest scorer with 44. Australia’s bowling attack also supported the batters with an excellent performance. Alana King was the star of the show, taking four vital wickets that halted India’s chase for the runs. Georgia Wareham chipped in with two wickets, while Annabel Sutherland, Ashleigh Gardner and Nicola Carey also got 1 wicket each. India were eventually bowled out for 224 in 45.1 overs.

The massive 185 run victory sealed a 3-0 ODI series whitewash for Australia, underlining their dominance in home conditions. With commanding performances across all three matches, Australia Women once again demonstrated why they remain one of the most formidable sides in world cricket.
