Laura Wolvaardt was signed by Southern Brave in the 2025 season, and she had played for Manchester Originals earlier. She scored a total of 207 runs in her previous season in The Hundred and she was one of the significant contributors to the team’s domination in the league phase. She played a crucial knock of 56* off 40 balls, which was a key factor in the victory against the London Spirit.

She also is the 1st overseas player in the history of The Hundred to cross 1000 runs. She has been a great performer in The Hundred with her consistent batting performances and she has the ability to keep the scoreboard ticking in every phase of the game. In her T20I career, she has scored 2225 runs from 79 innings at a strike rate of 118 and she has been a consistent performer for the South African side in this tenure. She also has scored two centuries in the T20I format, which is a rare feat to be achieved.
Wolvaardt has also featured in global franchise cricket leagues across the world including the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) and the Women’s Premier League (WPL). In the WBBL, she has scored over 2000 runs and she has been one of the best overseas players in the tournament. She has been a consistent performer for Adelaide Strikers since 2020, and she has also played for the Brisbane Heat earlier in her career.
In the WPL, she has scored 470 runs from 18 innings at a strike rate of 130. She first featured for Gujarat Giants and currently she is playing for Delhi Capitals. She has had successful stints in both the WBBL and WPL, making her a valuable asset to whichever franchise she plays for no matter the pitch or conditions.
