Schedule Announced for Women’s Delhi Premier League 2025, Set for August 17–24

The second edition of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) is set to commence on 17 August 2025, with South Delhi Superstarz facing North Delhi Striker in the opening match at the iconic Arun Jaitley Stadium. The women’s tournament will run until 24 August.

All fixtures will take place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, featuring four teams competing for the title: South Delhi Superstarz, North Delhi Striker, East Delhi Riders, and Central Delhi Queens.

North Delhi Striker will be aiming to defend their crown and secure back-to-back titles, while South Delhi Superstarz, who finished second last season, will be keen to go one better. East Delhi Riders and Central Delhi Queens, who had modest campaigns previously, will look to improve and challenge for the trophy.

“The women’s league also continues to gain ground and will be a strong platform for aspiring female cricketers in the Capital,” said Rohan Jaitley, president of the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA).

DPL 2025 promises to deliver an action-packed tournament, featuring a mix of emerging talents and experienced players, alongside a growing fanbase. With the next generation of cricketers stepping into the spotlight, the competition is expected to offer thrilling contests and plenty of excitement for cricket enthusiasts nationwide.
