Scheduled for June-July 2027 in Sri Lanka, this landmark tournament arrives as part of the ICC’s newly outlined Future Tours Programme (FTP) for 2025-29, which promises five major global events over the next four years.

With this significant expansion comes a brand-new visual identity designed to captivate audiences and celebrate cricket’s bold and dynamic nature. The refreshed design, crafted as a “digital-first vibrant expression,” challenges traditional norms with a unique and unconventional typographic logo, blending bold, confident, and playful elements to set a striking tone for the upcoming events.

ICC Chief Commercial Officer, Anurag Dahiya, expressed his excitement over the reinvention of the tournament’s image, saying, “The return of the men’s ICC Champions Trophy with a brand-new women’s event has provided us with a great opportunity for a refreshed vibrant and fun visual identity to represent the events over the next few years.”

Alongside its bright, modern design, the new look captures the essence of the Champions Trophy with distinctive touches, such as the iconic white jackets symbolizing both tradition and global appeal. Unlike the men’s Champions Trophy which sees the top eight teams in action every two years, the Women’s (T20) Champions Trophy will pit the leading six teams against each other, creating a fresh stage for women’s cricket to shine in an intense, all-out battle.

Reflecting cricket’s unique terminology and spirited atmosphere, this agile, expressive identity aims to amplify the tournament’s thrilling, high-energy moments. From the words that define the game to the names emblazoned on each player’s jersey, the design celebrates cricket’s language, sounds, and superstars. As Dahiya puts it, “The two weeks of thrilling competition the event is renowned for is reflected in the bold and loud edge to the brand. The new elements are accompanied by the distinctive white jackets which nod to the history of the Champions Trophy and its unique, global appeal.”
